Leaving Union Berlin at the end of the season. He did okay there scoring 30 goals in 72 appearances over three seasons.

He scored 10 goals in 51 games for us last time, which isn't great, but he only 29 and we have limited options up front next season.

As a free agent we could do a lot worse than having him with two other strikers to pick from next season?

    Thoughts?

He left because him or wife was unsettled in London, quite liked him & always gave his all, but don’t think a warbs player

Big lump, hard-working, honest and whole-hearted but very limited. A poor man's Matt Smith. We can do better.

I really liked Polter, but I don't think his style of play is what we're going for anymore
            Under Les Ferdinand:
Luke Freeman, top assists in the league: 4million
Alex Smithies, great goalie for this club: 3,5million
Charlie Austin, 19 Premier League goals: 4million
Jack Robinson: Contract ran out, left for free
            And many more mistakes
