Interesting BBC artical about off the pitch and dressing room behaviours.

Scroll down and read on to the Nedum Onouha section about a QPR player who didn't quite fit in.
The dressing room is football's inner sanctum but little is known about what goes on there. BBC Sport hears from players who have experienced the good - and the bad.

I remember when ned turned up he was looking to rent a 5 bed hse in Barnes . He had no kids at the time or none that lived with him ... I thought it a tad odd that he didn't want to buy , he jumped ship in the end and went with another agent

Harrow would have toughened Doughty up in a way being liberal and from Brighton wouldn't, haha

Such a disparity in ages, nationality and salary in most squads nowadays it's inconceivable there'll be total harmony amongst "the boys" and that's before you even take their personality and intelligence into account.
Didnt Simon Barker (or his Mrs) kick off years ago about bullying/mickey taking deriving from his bumpkin accent?

thanks, I think you are probably correct as he went to University and had a proper job before making it in professional football.
