First defeat always hurts. I had the feeling that the goalkeeper position is going to be our main problem. We added experience were required, however, Kelly is also young and yet unproven in the Championship. So we needed that experience in the gk position which we are lacking. Maybe Lumley is feeling the pressure from Kelly? We conceded 5 goals in the two games against Bristol City which is not good!

Yeah agree maybe a senior keeper should have been brought in , we have 3 young keepers but an old head to learn from every day in training would do them good.

Reminded me of that stoppage time goal that Heiðar Helguson scored against Palarse in 2010. That goal stood, so maybe this should of as well?

From what I’ve read on here and on Twitter (live in Ireland so can only get the odd stream and a game or two a year!) it seems Scowen wasn’t 100% suited to the #10 role and Smith seemed to struggle a bit with it today.

Why not stick Cameron in midfield with the 3 young lads for a bit of experience in the middle and have two up top? Wells/Chair would be well suited to playing behind Hugill and giving him a bit more service from play.

They were 8th last season, we can only dream of an 8th place finish

Perhaps fantastic is a little strong but a side I don’t usually think we will beat. Good manager, good players, good side

My point is we shouldn’t get too negative too quickly after this result, this month last season we lost 7-1 in an away game
