Not sure how they can still do £10 million though, that is odd. Have the sold anyone this summer?
Maybe they know they're screwed so going all out. Seems odd though, not sure how this makes any sense, but the books wont lie and I'd imagine Tony and the board would eventually kick-off about it.

I don't blame Derby if anybody does that's just plain jealousy ,it's very slippery thing to do tho you need 100 % trust in your owners not to sell up and fark off ! If works for them it can't be bad thing anyone sticking two fingers up at the EFL and their FFP

true, it is.. I would rather see them make it a legal requirement that the owners have to gaurantee to pay the costs of their expenditures rather than leave the club in debt.Originally posted by dogsrrs View PostBottom line is FFP is counter productive and is quite simply anti free trade and grossly unfair to investors , and is protective of the minority over the majority football clubs
As for buying the ground, perhaps QPR can sell a 20% share of Loftus Road to the owners for £30m, with the club having a buy back option if they secure promotion back to the Premier League.

FFP is to stop teams like Leicester winning the league again, they did it fairly but how PSG, Real Madrid Barcelona Man City and Scumski flaunt it is beyond belief.
They get a fine which is the same as us spending 500k on a player FFP all it does is allow clubs that are London based where wages etc need to be higher more restricted.

I have made that point about London wages before and wonder if the club have indeed asked the EFL if that is taken into account for London clubs, as well as others in the more expensive South East areas.Originally posted by shaggy24 View PostFFP is to stop teams like Leicester winning the league again, they did it fairly but how PSG, Real Madrid Barcelona Man City and Scumski flaunt it is beyond belief.
