Away team keeping gate receipts from away fans

Pretty sure that late last year the EFL unilaterally announced that home teams would no longer be allowed to keep all the gate money. They'd have to hand back the gate money generated by visiting fans to the visiting club.
Thing is, can't recall seeing or reading anything since. Have they quietly dropped it or is it actually coming in at some point or this season?

Na can't see that happening. Low gate teams rely on the income of big home games.
