Luongo like Freeman wants a new challenge and believes he can do better

He's not so good to be worth breaking our wage ceiling for

In which case surely better to move him on for something rather than let him run his contract down and ship him off for free ?

I see the wimmin will be using their new 17250 stadium for Euros in a couple of years - suppose that'll be first/only time they will fill the place.

not sure about little brother they've been much better than us in all ways the last 2-3 years. football wise and the way they run their club, get premium rates for players while our so Called DOF keeps selling ours opn the cheap

Maybe he wouldn't have signed it if it were higher ?

Contract was negotiated by both parties.

‘SSN Rob Dorrset ‘#avfc closing in on #brentford defender Ezri Konsa, I understand. Talks are progressing over a £12million deal’’
              Under Les Ferdinand:
Luke Freeman, top assists in the league: 4million
Alex Smithies, great goalie for this club: 3,5million
Charlie Austin, 19 Premier League goals: 4million
Jack Robinson: Contract ran out, left for free
              And many more mistakes

yes, they sold him for £12m. having bought him for £2.5m from Charlton 2 years ago. Now why can't QPR spot some decent signings from lower leagues and sell them on for big profits, instead we get the likes of Luongo (£4M and will sell for less than a quarter of that now or Washington., £3M and then pay him to leave. Smithies, Freeman,,Chery and Polter, but the profits made on them combined don't even match that of Konsa.

Does it not sound dodgy that Dean Smith is paying a load of money to his old club for a player who has had 1 season in the Championship ?
