Most clubs are owned by millionaires. The R's are not different. However, given by today's rules, every club cannot spend more than the official income it generates. So, why the necessity to have rich owners? I mean, as was the case in the past or as some non-professional clubs do, why not have an elected committee of people who really love the club and they manage accordingly with the income generated? Forget about the new stadium, which I am sure the owners have a more business idea behind it. People like Fernandes, who actually is a West Ham fan, invested in the R's for his own ambitions and not because he fell in love with the R's.
