A lot had already been said of our defence. Must say that I am not too confident with Lumley and do wonder that going forward, we need a better and more expirienecd goalkeeper? However, would like to point out that we have a habit of leaving the goalkeeper too exposed during set pieces. Case in point was yesterday goal against Watford. Why no defenders were on the line to defend the posts? If a defender was there he would had cleared the ball from going in. We watch much bigger and more sofisticated clubs doing this... why not us?

Knowing our luck, the corner will clear to an opposing player, they'll play the ball back in and our 2 defenders on the posts will run out far too slowly thus playing a striker onside......every time !Originally posted by Martinmalta View PostNo team score from every corner. However, one will may be enough… as was the case yesterday. Its stupidty to leave the goalkeeper alone on the line without any support. The time the opponents wins a header or take aim with a shot, he will have a big job to defend his goal.
