This needs tweaking as how it stands if mac has us finishing in 15th he wins this bet, which to me doesnt seem quite right with these 4 loans & 2 being strikers, which lets be honest if ollie had them he`d have us landing higher up in my opinion, surely hal has to be expecting mac to lead us to minimum top 10!

Surely given the fact that the current squad has been assembled whilst under FFP restrictions, which wasn't the case last season, any improvement from last year should be seen as progress?

You could argue that the bet has been propsed when we are already 4 points ahead of where we were at the same stage last season.

Why not make the bet based on points obtained out of the remaining games vs the points gained during the same period last season?
