Let's hope they'll be working on two different lists over the coming months for summer targets. One for championship and the other for, dare I say it, premier League quality additions in the event of promotion.

Whatever the outcome of this season let's hope we're well prepared for the next.

In terms of promotion - I think it's obvious that we would keep the bulk of the squad together pretty easily so it wouldn't be difficult to identify which areas need strengthening.

forgetting promotion, i think its more important to have players lined up for the one's that we will and may lose.

woslek, sylla and rangel are all out of contract in the summer.
wells, cameron and hemed will return to their parent clubs.

plus, we currently have 3 players who are making names for themselves (eze, freeman and lumley) and are at risk of losing them in the summer to bigger clubs.
    nsa/cia spy on this..............┌∩┐(◣_◢)┌∩┐

Woslek needs to be kept. Sure Rangel will be keen to stick around whatever division but he isn't getting any younger. Sylla is gone this month or in the summer - think that much is pretty clear.

Won't have to worry about losing eze,Freeman or Lumley if we go up as they'll know they can showcase their talent for a season at least before getting a big move.

We have to worry about cutting costs again as parachute payments are finished. Woslek, Lynch, Cousins and Bidwell are
        , for us,
high earners. To renew their contracts and cut cost would take the money we save on Wells, Hemed and Cameron.
The only spare money would come on savings from Sylla, Baptiste, Hammelainen,Rangel and Shopido.

Is there anything to stop the owners (or anyone else) getting involved investment wise over 19/20 should they choose to do so, ie on the basis that if we do OK this season it might be worth having a go next time round? Or does FFP accounting disbar that?

Hard to imagine a club our size seeing financial growth without the occasional promotion, so skewed is the media rights playing field.
