    Return of the Racist

Looks like Terry going back to Villa. Could make the live Sky match fun. Certainly going for broke, hope they get nowhere near promotion and get well and truly hammered by ffp

FFP was never their greatest problem. Their problem was that they had borrowed and spent all their future revenue leaving nothing to pay their bills with. Now with a fresh injection of cash they have some leeway.
They remember Racist John with rose tinted glasses as a lot of them were saying he was past it at the end of the season

not so sure ffp was never a big problem for villa... if this article is correct, then they will be in deep trouble fairly soon.

I agree. If they have lost 14.5m and 81m in their last two seasons they must be in trouble.

They have got Christian Purslow in to generate more sponsorship money for the club which is something he did at both Liverpool and Chelsea so think they will somehow scrape past ffp.

Failing generating sponsorship money the owners could always "sponsor" the team like all the other clubs in Europe do and just pile in dough that way (loosely speaking).
