Considering the clubs statement of generating as much as we can it is a suprise that we have not tried to have a decent cup run these past 5 or 6 years. Blackpool away is a winnable tie that should be a match that we look to win.

Away draw and the cup jog ends here. Can't see us getting past Blackpool if I'm honest....simply because we cannot win away from home regardless of who the opposition is.

We should beat Blackpool and put ourselves in the final 16 and the increased possibility of an away tie at Liverpool/Chelsea, Man Utd, Man City, West ham, Arsenal or Spurs and all the money that comes with such a tie, but, on the other-hand, if we lose this cup 'run' would have cost us money because of the 2 home games with significantly low attendances and an away fixture at a club whose fans are boycotting matches and may only get 1,000.
So our scandalous record in cups over past 30 years is actually a conscious and deliberate choice based on sensible financial planning then? And here was I thinking it was cos we were garbage, doh!
