Yes, you are right about this being a real confidence booster for him. And to think he scored quite a few towards the end of last season when he was finally given some game time.

Sylla contract must be nearly up. Annoying not to be making on money back on these players.

Not that great business as Washington cost us best part of 3 million but was paid off to leave for free.

We'll just brush that aside. He could and should have been transfer listed at the end of last season and see what if any offers were made for him, but no, wait until the window is about to close and then pay him off let him go for free .

Washington was misused by us from the off. Good luck to the guy. I don't get the hate, unless it comes from a state of helpless influence on results. W@anckers.

How is it that QPR culd not get any of these Premiership defenders who joined Championship clubs?

Championship side Ipswich Town sign Everton defender Matthew Pennington on a season-long loan deal.

Sheffield Wednesday sign Tottenham midfielder Josh Onomah and Chelsea centre-back Michael Hector on season-long loan deals.

This one is now a free agent should QPR decide they need another 30something defender.

Defender Russell Martin has his Norwich City contract terminated by mutual consent, ending a nine-year stay at Carrow Road.

Sometimes you have to cut your losses. What is the point of him not playing but picking up a decent wage. Would you rather have him not playing or Cameron who will play.
