  • Should/could the board...

Gamble on FFP and throw caution to the wind by paying over what we're allowed to get in some decent quality and hopefully prevent us going down?
What's worse, breaking the budget again and maybe have fine increased but stay up and start again next year, or go down and possibly go the same way as teams like Coventry or Portsmouth with restrictions still hanging over us and little prospect of us being able to progress?

Right mate but if Wells is a possibility (who really knows) and they are trying to scrimp and scrape over the fee/wages we could end up losing out completely and then we are trully ####ed. Can't see why else they are taking so long, and if it is because of them wanting to stay within the FFP limit it could end up costing us relegation which is surely worse

If we are not in this league after this season it can never happen. We will be an Orient or a Walthamstow. With the loan window shutting in 10 days and a transfer embargo in January the likelihood of buying our way out of trouble is optimistically slim. The owners have consigned us to irrelevance as a football club. Our existence is under threat in the short to medium term and there are no miracle solutions to reverse our situation.

$hit owners, $hit management, $hit players have consigned us to the scrapheap.

This season is the beginning of the end.

Why would you expect the board to make a positive decision? After 7 years they are still as clueless now as they were in 2011

Wishful thinking maybe that now Amits back in charge he might be more inclined to stick 2 fingers up and say we need players so #### the fine

Maybe but Hoos and Ferdinand will be counting the jelly beans that they will pay them with.

A second time breach of FFP rules will not only lead to a fine, but points deducted. It's not the way!

But if we were to go down we would be breaching it again anyway wouldn't we cos our income would drop significantly, wouldn't be able to raise anything in player sales that's for sure

We are in a far worse state than they have let on.
