We've got no dosh to spend. The owners' money is financing the annual loss the club is making - there's nothing left to sign players
Hence free transfers and kids - and letting bloody good keepers go for a bag of chips

Aren't youngster development costs etc. exempt from the dreaded FFP calculations? If so, why not enlist a few for the future?
