    is it on the cards?

was a massive fan and probably more pleased about his signing than anyone else's when we got him on loan with a view to a perm (ho, ho) and defended him stoutly for a v long time but there was one game just before he left (can't remember who against) when I finally lost patience as he just didn't seem to be trying - which is the one failure no fan can stand. We all accept some players have technical limitations but when players are paid fantasy amounts not even to put in a shift really alienates fans.

All of which is a v roundabout way of saying it depends on which Ben Watson turned up - wd want to know he wd fight for the shirt this time. If so, I'd make him captain and build the team around him. If not, he can rot in Wigan.

if it was nailed on that he was played the way he should be played then yes....he is not a holding midfielder but a box to box one....that is the only way to get the best out of him.....

          No.

Buzz and Faurlin made a great partnership and should be given matches now as a pair.

Yes, definately. If he's motivated to play for us then would be great, as he was early on in his loan move. But why would he want to come back after all the abuse he got from fans?

              Yes.

And that is the right answer so you may as well lock the thread.

                  Watson

Yes much better than Nigel Q, as long as he was motivated to play.

I think Quashie has disappointed, be surprised to see him play next few games to be honest.

Him and Hogan took the brunt of the Harford force at half-time

Yes, he's a good player, started well for us, went off the boil a bit but I think it's clear now there were 10 other players out there with him all underperforming!
