True..most fans (not me) were ecstatic about it..the boards went into frigging meltdown that day..people were happy as blooming larry and praising GP like he was the messiah.

take into account the £1.2m fee we paid to Fulham to get him back, plus 14 months on the injury bench at 5 figure a week wages and suddenly 3 good games seems to look not such a good deal...

Early signs are that he could well be back to his previous form. He certainly looks far better than he came back the first time. But let's not get carried away he has played what 2 or 3 games? At the end of the season hopefully we will be able to tell and I would say Cook is one of the signing that GP hasn't really recieved stick over anyway!

£850k actually, 7 months injured, not 14.
