I wonder how they got on with the World Cup with Germany, Spain, Brazil etc
They had France as joint 3rd favorites on 11-2 so they were indeed very close. Only Brazil and perhaps Spain ahead .

I agree that it looks likely to be another season of struggle because although a better coach this time the squad is definitely weaker in defence.

not offering an opinion on how we will do until the transfer window is closed and we have started a few games is hardly ducking it.
Having a meltdown before a ball is kicked was pretty much what happened on here last season I seem to recall.

FFP hangs over us. We can't just buy players.

The point I am making (clearly very badly) is that they don't always get it right.

They have been very busy releasing players and signing a few for the development squad-

No they don't always, but are often almost spot on where QPR is concerned and if they have them as one of the favs for relegation then a dog fight at the bottom it will be.

No melt down Jack if you'll offer an opinion after the window shuts , why not offer an opinion on what I asked for at this moment in time ? That what most are concerned about the here and now hypothetical yes just getting ithy feet with just over week to go is understandable after the proverbial pre window shlt churned out we have IDENTIFYED our targets and will be making early business

ok fair enough at this moment in time I would say we will finish in about the same place as last year. I am assuming another centre back in and possibly a striker on loan in making that prediction.

I don't think the division looks that strong this year. Then again, neither do we. Keeping tight ship at the back is going to need work, Grant Hall key.

If we can sort out the rear end then I think mid table.

Bang on. Anything before Christmas is simply an attempt at a fairly educated guess.
