When a rumour lingers as long as this one, I always tend to think it has legs. And let's be honest, if we are going to break the bank for someone, it should be a decent centre half who leads from the back. Exactly what this guy apparently is.

Remember we haven't spent a penny of the money Smithies brought, and have had a number of high earners leave. I'm sure provisions were made for at least 1 signing that comes with a transfer fee.

It will be good to get this done. Then hopefully a striker even if on loan given our FFP constraints.

Gingers comment was from a few days ago before the reports resurfaced that we were still trying or Squad numbers were released with no No. 5

          Fair one.

I haven't really been on here as regular the last few months.

No I can vouch for that. He only does about 16 hours per day ;)
I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

How would you know that unless you're on here longer than me? ;)

I don’t think Sainsbury would be cover. Reckon it means when fit one of Hall or Lynch will be warming bench

Just guessing based on the kerfuffle caused by the twitter FFP leak

Article sums up where we are with this and at least all the rumours are true. We could do without it dragging on and for the deal not to be done, without a plan b

                              Thanks for sharing Swede

Would love to see Sainsbury at QPR. Have watched him his whole career and said he'd play for the NT in his first A-League season. Very fast - immense in the air - great passer of the ball (short and long) and can run with the ball through the middle when he feels like it. Already has a good understanding with Mass Luongo from the NT. You ought to see the ball he played for Mass's goal in the final of the Asian Cup. By all reports he's rejected a big money deal in the middle east because he wants to test himself at the highest level. (Doesn't really need money as he's already had a huge payday in China.)

Also, his father is a pom so he's either a dual national or at least eligible for a British passport if he wants one.
