he was in talks with hull apparently and nigel adkins said that the talks were positive but that ned is keeping his options open as hes hoping for a prem side to come in for him.

can't see ned coming back here though as he left us coz he wanted to move back up north

i agree. he was good at this level but also made too many mistakes. i did think that burnley would take a punt on him as backup though as they love signing players from the championship and could have seen him as a decent option off the bench with his experience

Only prem team I can think of who would take him as a squad player would be Huddersfield.
