I did a few on the old slam door days in the 70’s, Coventry, Luton, Ipswich, Norwich comes to mine.

The escorted walk from Coventry train station to Highfield Road was memorable in 76/77, brickes, bottles rained down all the way there and all the way back, halcyon days.
I have supported Rangers for 55 seasons, since March 1969.

Did a few back in the 80s.
Newcastle away in 83 was the most memorable, the train wasn't fit for cattle.
        Good craic none the less

The worst rolling stock you could imagine, often with no light bulbs, windows and sometimes no proper seats as they got chucked out of the non existent windows

Did loads of them. Brilliant laugh. Old Daphne Biggs used to keep everyone in line. Well she certainly tried.

There was a couple of other QPR officials who were regularly on them as well. Both tall lads, one had a tache. regulation issue sheepskin coats as well.

Did Liverpool away for the milk cup semi in 86, train got bricked in and out of edgehill, our carriage got shut for safety reasons and had to stand in the old guards van from Crewe until Euston, there were a fair few scousers on the return trip who snuck on due to them missing the last train.
