Alex McCarthy played his part in keeping this famous double for Hughes on the cards. Horrible missed punch that led to Everton's goal. Awful keeper, was useless for us, how he's plying his trade in the top flight is beyond me. Wouldn't even get onto our bench at present.

On a sidenote: I once wanted us to get the manager who kind of started Soton`s upturn five or six(?) years ago, but I dont know where he is now? Pochetino replaced him. i cannot remember his name, though.
