It's been bugging me for a while now, but why don't we offer players a new contract a year or 6 months before?
If a player no longer wishes to stay with us, at least we can put him in the shop window in Jan. I'd rather lose a player 6 months before and receive a fee, then lose him for nothing.
Would that work?
