I have to agree with Jason Scotland he has proven he is capable at this level. Cox, Beckford, Mackail-Smith etc are unknown quantities in this league and for all we know may turn out to be another Jermaine Easter.

Said both of these points before but

we were supposedly offered Beckford for next to nothing whilst he was at Harrow Wealdstone and Ian Holloway passed them up on the offer. Another of those John Barnes/Rio Ferndinand etc type of mistakes.

I used to work in the pub Mackail-Smith's old man drinks in, in Watford and we were in for him whilst he was at Dagenham & Redbridge and we thought he was more than capable to make the step up then, but he wanted to essentially walk before he could run and move up through the divisions.
