  • Peter Taylor and Marc Bircham....

.. on "Late Kick Off - London" last night.

I tend to agree with both of them, especially Peter Taylor.
He's not slagging the club, far from it... but not pulling punches either.

Good proper football show, well worth a look every week.

The QPR bit is 9 minutes in this week, have a look:

Oh, and by the way... Bircham is on the show most weeks, and is actually very good.

Better than Claridge or Merson, but that's not hard.

Are we actually looking at the Arsenal GK who is on loan at Brentford this season as a possible loan deal for all of next season? Bircham indicated that we have watched him quite a bit and knew quite a few vital statistics about him? One for next season me thinks!

          I noticed that.

Sounds promising, and the kind of talent we should be lining up for next year.

Cheers Goddard good watch, Peter Tayler seems very knowledgeable.

I would rather have him as QPR manager than harford imo.

              He's a funny one, Taylor.

He has been brilliant in some jobs, but flopped at Palace, and particuarly Leicester, and that's what some focus on.

Hull, Brighton, Wycombe and England Under 21's he did a great job, really good coach, and very respected.
Not a fan of Flav though, so hardly likely!

Talks a lot of sense though.

Think Taylor did a decent job at Palace too. Under his tenure, the likes of Bostock, Scannell, Moses etc made the breakthrough and his league position was no worse than Warnock.

He's never really lived down paying £4m for Ade Akinbiyi

Would be very happy with him as a future QPR manager.

                  Fair points. Good coach.
Hull wouldn't be where they are without him.
                  Totally turned that place around.

Went up in my books with those comments last night, he certainly has big respect for this club, and seems to "get it", with regards to the fans feelings.

Yes, let's continue the highly successful loan only policy next season.

I think after saying on BBC TV that, "QPR need to sort themselves out at the top, and the fans are perfectly within their rights to complain at how their club is being run" ...... probably rules him out of Flav's wish list for any sort of job at QPR while he's running the club?!

Obviously Bircham was in a tricky position with that interview, and Peter Taylor said it instead.
Luckily the host realised that, and didn't ask Young Marc.

I hope say, I have quite a few b's mates who all rave about him, saw him at their recent match vs leeds and he mus of pulled off about 5 top draw saves, on that showing he would easily dislodge cerny as number 1
