Oh, and I'd say Tonge to Derby is clearly one of the best. Quality midfielder at this level and someone we should have gone for. Derby have done fantastically well there. Excellent signing.

Sorry, but sometimes the truth hurts and then I'm accused of spin. I see other posters who do that too, get tarnished with the same brush. Its a defence mechnisim, a sort of need to get personal if you don't agree. Its just an opinion.

Fact is and I stand by it, no-way if we were top 5 now, would we get bad crowds.

Your accused of spin because you are forever arguing the toss in the boards favour. It's all well and good saying about us being a mid table club and why spend money etc.. When the FACT is on the 1st of jan we were in a good position to mount a playoff challenge. They should of brought the players in then with the deals are lined up in dec.

You can't really expect the crowds to be the reason for not spending. Not spending anything is hardly going to increase the gates is it. They supply the product and we buy it. Not vice versa. And if it was the case the club should let us know via the appropriate channels not Chinese whispers on messageboards.
