                True.

Not a loan, or a buy.

Think we should sign him today. Knowing us, we'll dither and watch him get snapped up from under our noses. That's what normally happens.

Yes, and why delay? Is it worth risking him going elsewhere?

From what I recall from his days at Arsenal and Fulham, he is quite good defensively and likes to get forward, which makes him a better option than Leigertwood or Ramage.

The only good reason for not signing him, would be because QPR want to buy Clyne and it is highly unlikely that QPR will buy anyone now.

                            Under Les Ferdinand:
Luke Freeman, top assists in the league: 4million
Alex Smithies, great goalie for this club: 3,5million
Charlie Austin, 19 Premier League goals: 4million
Jack Robinson: Contract ran out, left for free
                            And many more mistakes

LES FERDINAND, IT'S TIME TO GO
