      Yes.
Even though I hate his teams, and the way they play.

That's how desperate I am to see the back of this ridiculous structure we have.

But would MUCH prefer Coppell or Curbishley, who are both actually OUT OF WORK NOW.
Both of whom have sadly turned the position down, not once, but twice....(3 times in Coppell's case if you count his interview with Chris Wright and Nick Blackburn!)

yes but he won't want to come to this sh it hole like the rest of them
I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

i'd take Warnock every time. not literally 'take' of course. experienced manager, been promoted from this division albeit a long while ago, knows what he's talking about, motivated to end his career on a high. I like Big Mick as a bloke - but we need a proven manager, someone we can believe in.

Curbs was at Charlton for one of them though, I seem to remember? Years ago.

Not sure when he most recently turned us down though, or Coppell?.... but things change, and they are both out of work now. (He said, hopefully!)

Not short of offers/enquiries though, I bet.

I'd have him over another journeyman/puppet. It would be a statement of intent, at least.

But his "wonderful record of promotions" is a bit of a myth.

Got Sheff Utd up 3 years ago... his only promotion ever to the top league, and his only promotion of any kind since 1996.
Plenty can match that record (Nigel Worthington, Iain Dowie, Peter Reid etc..), and most can beat it.

Coppell and Curbishley? That's a whole different level.

But if ColinW is the best we could possibly hope for.... ahhh, why not?

Agree Goddard - he has six promotions to his name though, nearly all from the lower leagues and most ages ago admittedly. Least he's actually been successful before though rather than most of the likely candidates we end up with. PS Would take Coppell or Curbs first every day but never going to happen

Did you run a similar poll for Magilton or Dowie???

Wonder what percentage they would have got? Nothing near 80% positive.

                              Any danger we've enquired?
He'd be quality and also possibly bring a few Palace boys on the cheap.

Not as big a percentage as it would have been for Coppell or Curbishley, you can bank on that.
But probably shows how desperate we are right now.

Christ, even I voted yes, and I can't stand the bloke. :waaaht:
