Reason for not being in the playoffs?

Against other 11 teams in top half we have gained 27 points and we still have to play 3 more games against them. This gives us 6th place (2 points from 4th) see http://stats.football365.com/dom/ENG/D1/vtophalf.html

Against 12 teams in the bottom half we gained 33 points which leaves us in 15th place see http://stats.football365.com/dom/ENG/D1/vbothalf.html

Is it the mentality of the players and/or managers not preparing the team enough?

It's the QPR way....even before there was a Premiership we'd beat the big boys and then get tonked by teams at the bottom

Simple answer ... we gave away too many goals - didn't score consistently enough.

Reason = 2 decent full backs and 2 decent forwards missing.
