  • Any point of the owners being here??

If they arent going to back us financially, then what is the point of them being here ??
Why dont they just walk away, relieve some pressure from the club, all this "richest club" talk.
Surely us fans could go in and run the club better ourselves. They are clueless im afraid, good businessmen mmmm is that why we are reportadly in the red each month??

Walk away, let someone else who cares about the club take the reins.

    Who agrees??

dont believe that crap mate, there where other parties interested. These owners have conned the fans out of major money and havent matched the ambitions they set, because they dont put there money where their mouth is.
Why say something if your not going to do it.
The club is a mess, thanks flavio and co.

Without them we would have gone into Administration a couple of years ago and would be stuck in league one now. Get real people.

As far as we know there was nobody with any real financial clout interested. All that would have happened would be we would have got someone in to steady the boat for a while with a view to attracting some real investment. We have been leaking far too much money for too many years.

We need real money men, such as Flavio, just to keep things running. You can bet our wage bill is monumentally higher than it was for instance.

We are not Man City with 40,000 (or however many they get) fans or Chelsea. We are little QPR and some fans need to accept that. We are doing well by our standards and by what our expectations should be. Yes big mistakes have been made but all this vitriol towards the owners does nobody any favours least of all the club.

It is an exaggeration to say the least that the club is a mess. It is in a better state than it has been in many years.

They've stuck millions of pounds in, as pointed out to you by others we'd be in Division 1 or 2 by now if they hadn't.
I have supported Rangers for 55 seasons, since March 1969.

                        thought id let you know:

                        1) The supposed loan they paid off hasnt been. The £12mil debt was converted to flavios parent company at a lower rate.

                        2) The money they spent £5.5mil in their first January transfer window, is actually a loan to the club from them. WHICH THEY ARE CHARGING INTEREST

Overall they havent spent any money out of their own pocket on the club.

You cant tell me that all the money from ticket sales, sponsorship deals, tv rights, merchandise sales etc is all going on wages.....

Last part that could easily be the case.

From a taxation viewpoint it would be daft not to do points 1 and 2 as loans. Not saying they are not protecting their own investment but I gather has significant tax advantages and if club being run as a business makes sense. This club is small change to them. It is a hobby. All this conspiracy stuff is (hopefully) pie in the sky brought about by general dissatisfaction with some of things which have happened.

Can I ask where you got this information from, especially point 2.

From the official accounts of the club published sometime last season, i remember it well and was shocked by this.
