The club websit advertised that 2 players would be there between 12-2.

Did the manager, players know this?

If they did, and it appears did not show up, then the club needs to post an apology on the website.

And the players that should have turned up, should now be fined a week's pay (which perhaps could go to local children's charities.

jfish, this is the outcome - outrage on the message board and NOTHING from the club. This is the way it is and is going to be as long as we have the current clowns in charge. Harford IS a hard man, but he's not stupid and, as it seems the players have the power at this club, I doubt he'll tear into the Prima Donnas, which, unfortunately is EXACTLY what they need.

I think this is something which should be taken further. I have emailed Francis to see what the reasons were for the no show.
Having been advertised on the OFFICIAL website there should be a public apology on there at the very least.

My cousin went down there and not one player turned up. Sums up what a farce our club has become.

They couldn't give a to55 about the fans.

I would love to say that I'm surprised by this latest snub to our fans by the players, but I'm not.
I commented not too long ago about how long it was since I'd seen any player sign a single autograph for our young fans in the lower loft, must be at least 2 seasons, maybe longer.

The arrogance shown by our players towards their own supporters is perverse to say the least, I've never known anything quite like it in over 35 years of going to Loftus Rd, and in that time I've seen, met, and laughed, with players that the shower we currently have couldn't be compared to in a million years.

This will only lead to a very bad atmosphere on saturday, unless the club's PR machine does something to make amends, and fast.

In the meantime, my advice to anyone planning on attending this year's POY do, is give it a wide berth.
