Is it right to swap clubs? QPR RELATED

I know a Forest fan who supported Arsenal for a few seasons then back to Forest then back to Arsenal depending on which league Forest were in. I know AFC Wimbledon fans who would never support MK Dons because they don't believe that is their club. I knew people when l was younger who were Blackburn fans one season and Newcastle the next in the early years of the Premiership. I never believed that they truly supported any of the teams.

Can you really switch clubs and support the new club with all your heart?

Yeah unfortunately if you are a true fan you pick one team and they spend the rest of your life making you miserable most of the time.

Yes, a bit like getting married

Although if you can get a divorce from your spouse, why can't you 'divorce' your club, especially when there are irreconcilable differences i.e. lying to you. selling assets, taking you for granted etc?

Me too. Most of my family bothers, cousins etc were/are Arsenal fans.

I blame Frank McLintock for moving to QPR, thus bringing then to my attention.

you only support one team.. but can have soft spots for others..

i support rangers and will do till i die.. but i like to see west ham do well.

Don't know why I mentioned it really. You are right it is quite different.

I think I was saying it because the old Wimbledon were the club in their heart and they couldn't support a different club and to them MK Dons were not Wimbledon. To them supporting MK Dons would be like us supporting Chelsea after having already support QPR.

gooner/ranger hybrids seem pretty common, i know a few like that too. kind of got used to it now, and it doesn't really bother me as much as it would any other club.
