FB quoted as saying Harford will be in charge until the end of the season. Todays Mirror, and the interview online.

Why would they appoint him as it would ruin their 4 year plan to break the club up and sell the ground for housing. As soon as we realise the agenda from the board is to finish the club off the more we will see through their plans.

Year 1. **** the fans off by raising prices, spend loads on corporate hospitality (to disenchant the real fans, build a TV screen on the stand. ACHIEVED.

Year 2. Sack 10 managers and turn the club into a laughing stock so many fans start to lose interest and attendances fall. Continue to spend nothing on transfer fees and look to bring in money grabbing has-beens or complete unknowns in on loan. ACHIEVED.

Year 3. Fans protest at Briatore and Paladini and therefore owner decides to sell his stake to an overseas investor who happens to own a large property development company. Fans further aggrieved by more of year 1 and 2 shenanigans. Zero further investment.

Year 4. Club goes into administration, ground is sold and work on flats starts.

I hope it does not come true.

One thing for certain though is that the board do not want promotion, if they did they would have done it by now. Therefore it creates a breeding ground for conspiracy theories. None of us really know the reasons why they have bought QPR but to create a successful football club for the community most certainly isn't one of them.

I know a couple of scouts, one for Chelski and one for Crewe and both have come back with the same story, that Curbishley is infact friends with GP and that the position is his should he want it. Neither of them knows each other, so find it strange they can come up with the same story ?
Club are waiting on a decision from him and one of them deems it to be over 80% likely that he will be coming but not until June. It may though be announced before hand to appease the fan base but it mustn't affect his issues with WHU.
                      The clock is ticking !

                          well

well if you consider the relationshop that curbs had with the charlton directors,he did what at qpr is so vital. he could comunicate at boardroom level,so curbs may not be a gerry francis but he certainly has huge tallent

Would love to see Curbishley get the job, but there is no way FB & GP would not get involved, so it just isn't going to happen.

FB is not interested in what is best for QPR, otherwise he would not have go involved in football matters such as signing or selling players, team selections etc. He isn't qualified to do so, not in experience as a Chairman or even a football spectator.
