  • Flav lost Interest?

I know its early in the Window and all that, but I cannot see us signing anyone on a perm this January.

Is the reason that Flab has totally lost interest in his hobby, the Mittals do not want to put anything in 'cos they've only got 20% and Bernie would rather be at Stam**** Bri***?

IMO I think they'll leave it this window (other than a few loans) then come the summer when Curbishley takes over then you'll see some activity.

Well there was a question on here yesterday asking: if it meant that we would get Curbishley (or similar) in the summer, and start sorting out the mess... would people accept a quiet january and just settle down until may?

Most said yes, and so would I.
Why waste money, if there is a proper plan for the summer?

Not sure that's the case, but we can hope that's a big reason for not buying players now.
                  I'd be fine with that.

I'm amazed that people actually believe that Curbishley will become our manager

                      I don't believe... but I hope.
If you lose all hope, then we might as well give up and turn the lights out now.

And I don't just mean about Curbishley, or anyone on particular.

Be lovely to imagine, but the fact is that we've been spun a lot of rubbish about spending in the next transfer window and the next close season.

Remember we were told that if Sousa went, the board weren't going to mess about any more and a top class manager would be incoming. And we ended up with "Nutter" Magilton.

Another season written off, with another increase in debts of at least £4m. Can the board really be so cavalier that they can afford to write off the season because we are a whopping FOUR points off the playoffs??

Agree and I hope they don't give up on the season just yet.

A few decent signings could make all the difference. However, I can also understand that they would rather wait to buy players when Hart is replaced in the summer.

So it could be that we will have to settle for loan signings.

Watson and Williams have gone, so QPR now only have Taarabt, Simpson and Ikeme.

Quashi - if he joins may not be a loan, but a free signing on a short term deal like Miller or Lopez last season.

This would still allow QPR to sign Cousin and or Folan (and perhaps a full back if only one of those strikers).

That could be enough to lift the club.
