So why did we get rid of him?

With a totally settled set up i.e a gibson type at boro..he would do atop job again down the bush!! At the time i honestly felt he was getting a bit stale but in hindsight ..i realise that he was'nt given the proper reins . I don't pretend to be any kind of expert and maybe that was his level. But he was the nuts for us and the stands were jumping. I took over mates from ireland and they are still talking about the buzz!!

            rblockells,

Not sure, we should have got rid of him.. I suspect in the early days GP wanted Ruiz (cannot remember the name) and it led to mistrust over time and they fell out. Ollie did want to manage Leicester, but I guess it was used to get rid of him.

It does happen in football, Francis felt the same way when Rodney was installed a potential director of football. the only downside of Ollie, was that he had been here for about 5 years..

Well they don't seem keen to put the money up for Hart so I just wondered how Ollie was going to bring in so many wonderful players!

i know about the money so if you have none coming in then...passion has a huge hand to play. Certain people in the game are just not managers...paul hart and brian kidd come to mind. Loads of decent coaches will not cut it running a club..the same way that some managers have to have somebody on the training ground. But....passion on the pitch will seep to the terraces then our passion will flood back onto the players-result....unitity!!
