    • so is anyone any the wiser what possible point pete was trying to make? that actually we are doing better than fulham? that you can go up without spending a penny? oh well, he refused to answer any of the points put to him, when one of his factual assertions was proved tb wrong he insisted he was merely expressing an opinion, then said good night. I actually like the guy but don't think he's had a great week defending the indefencible...

          • Pete, at what point do you actually think..."d'ya know what, I actually value my personal credibility and I'm longer prepared to be a mouth piece for something that is SO CLEARLY WRONG ON SO MANY LEVELS".

FFS man, have some pride, have some balls and think for yourself. You are the only one (well apart from HA9 and couple of stragglers) who actually still believes all this pony. Christ, even Beefy and Scott have finally smelt the coffee.

You're a decent bloke, you love QPR, but this is not the way to show it.
QBP 20th August 2009..."To be fair, I'm glad we are top of the table (for agents fees). Shows we are not a selling club anymore."

we all know Petey is a die hard QPR fan & i salute him for that but defending the undefendable is one thing but trying to defend the out & out ridiculous is beyond belief

think that's why there's so much bitching on here, most fans have had enough of the BS (which some have seen for the last 3-5 years)

at the end of the day not 1 single QPR fan could defend the madness that surrounds our club at the moment, unbelievable really

Oh hold on this one has been done already.

                      3. Even a capacity of 25000 will be pretty much the lowest in the Prem. So where will the additional money come from to pay big wages and compete for big names in the Prem?
Not sure why this post, which WAS on the subject of expenditure, was ignored by Pete.

Flav was the one spouting about Champions League in 4 years

Ticket price increases of 50% were marketed on the basis of an improved and exciting product.

Of course, the board could say "Sorry, this is all taking a bit longer to sort out than we expected, bear with us". The problem being when the fans then reply "Of course, no problem, just reel in the ticket prices in line with the reduced expectations and we'll be patient."
And can't for the life me understand why he ignored this one.

                        • Pete, some people struggle to understand the basic facts, yet they then have the audacity to call the board all the names under the sun.

I have said it before, a number of QPR fans act like spoilt children and you will never get them to understand.
