Am i alone in thinking that we do actually have goalscorers in the team and with Cook returning imminently we will see our attacking options improve
The reason we are so inconsistent is that Cerny and the back 4 are a shadow of themselves versus last season
additionally I think we can all see the difference Mahon in particular actually made in terms of closing things down in the middle and providing leadership which we are lacking badly at the moment
so - my view is that 3 new signings would be sufficient - a GK to challenge Cerny - a versatile defender who can play across the back - and a defensive midfielder
the likes of routeledge, simpson, taarbat, cook and buz should be able to score for fun at this level
most succesful teams are strong at the back - when was the last time we kept a clean sheet?
