Dean Parrett doesn't seem to be doing to bad:
PLAYER PROFILE
Dean Parrett
Biography
The all-action midfielder joined our Academy full-time at the start of the 2008-09 season, and in December 2008 he signed his first professional contract with the Club.
Dean also earned a place on the First Team bench for our UEFA Cup group game with Spartak Moscow that month before making his senior debut in February 2009.
He started our Round of 32 first leg tie with Shakhtar Donetsk in Ukraine, impressing during his 89 minutes on the pitch. He then came off the bench to feature in the final moments of the second leg at White Hart Lane a week later.
Dean also had the honour of being named in the provisional 20-man squad for the 2009 Carling Cup Final against Manchester United at Wembley.
Impressive displays at junior level have already led to both Under-18 and reserve representation at the club, as well as being a regular for England Under-17s.
In the summer of 2009 he was selected for the European Under-19 Championship Elite Qualifying Round, where he featured in all three games.
Although he made his first appearances for our Under-18s as an Under-16 player, his first season as a full-time scholar resulted in him earning the captain's armband for the second half of the campaign, in which he made 27 appearances and scored twice.
Born in Hampstead and brought up in Kilburn, London, he previously played for Queens Park Rangers.
Also doing well for England, played all the age groups now at U19 level.

Best of luck to him and lets hope one day, he can come back and play for the Superhoops.
Reality is we needed the money as a football club at the time and instead of going into adminsitration like Luton or Southampton assets had to be sold. I am sure it was a good move anyway for him, as Spurs have an excellent academy, something we do not have. Doubt at this stage in his career he would have been a first teamer for QPR, so I guess it was a good move and deal for everyone involvedALL BEST BANTER AND ALL THE LATEST FROM QPR.

Good point and very nicely put. Lets just do away with the youth set up, complete waste of time and money

How old is he? Still only young, so he is not going to be first team, just yet. Is the kid over 18 yet?Originally posted by HA9 RANGER View Postno need for homework

You cannot say he hasnt made it because he is not talked about on MOTD, what crap that is. That how you judge every single player? That mean you think Giggs is the best in the world, like MOTD does?
Parrett is still young - you can only say he hasnt made it if he gets sacked/relseased and ends up playing below ourselves - and even that cant be said until another 5 years, when he has grown up more.

ok I will be careful but it is hard when he writes such drivel.
Sorry HA9 you're not a numpty.
So in conclusion you are also saying that Raheem Sterling is not worth the money big clubs are offering because he is not on MOTD and in the press regularly.
Oh dear Oh dear.
quick we must be rid of the centre of excellence as it's not on MOTD and in the papers So not a sucess LOL LOL
