    Mike Keen

I just heard an announcement on talkSPORT that ex-QPR captain Mike Keen has passed away. I cant find any other news links to the story. Did anyone else catch this, or was I just hearing things?! (It was announced at the same time as the news of Jimmy Neighbour).

RIP. Have heard a lot about him from my old man and people like Barnsey and Old George.

I'm very sorry to hear about Mike Keen passing away, the only captain in our history to hold aloft a major trophy at Wembley.
I hope it's a dignified minute's silence tomorrow, as applause for someone who has just died, is so, so, crass.

R.I.P. Mike Keen, QPR club captain, League cup winner.

Agree with you there, a minutes silence or dont bother IMO.
this modern "trend" for a minutes applause is both vulgar & like you say, so, so crass.
