We were a whisker away from 3 points at the Hawthorns and have taken 3 points from Brizzie.(who are a good team who were above us).

Thats as good a start as we could possibly have hoped for under a new manager considering all thats been going on at the club.

As I said in another thread, our fans (some of them) were a complete joke and show themselves up to be ignorant about football, about how to motivate people and actually about loyalty. Pathetic.

I think our club as as bad as any I have been to for id1ot fans. People groan at every mistake, boo, make up pathetic chants, chavs the lot of them. Irony is, they probably can't even read this thread.

It's the sort of gang mentality - follow like sheep. Those types of fans just get drinking, chant with their mates and are the types who are more interested in trouble or pointing at the opposition than the football. I give up.

But did we have 2 left backs for the whole 90 minutes? Did we have 2 left backs on when losing? Did we not win the match?

Hart put defensive minded players on to see out the win. If he had made the decisions and we had still conceded then yes give him stick. If we had been losing and had 2 left backs instead of Taraabt then give him stick but when you are winning at home against a very good side (many of their players would walk into our side) then the fans have nothing to complain about.

Matt connolly came on and sat infront of the back 4 in Defensive midfield role. It was a 451 when the subs were made...

Players moved into the middle and Borrowdale played LM, Clearly they had confidence in his ability to keep hold of the ball and shore things up...

Last week against WBA "Why didnt faurlin just put the ball in the corner" booooooooo!!! today legs go's to the corner booooooooo!!! I mean FFS what do you want them to do, they cant win!!!! So much so Leigertwood looked at the crowd srugged his shoulders basically saying what do you want me to do!!

FFS we get our first win in 9 games against a decent Bristol city side and i feel like we have lost the game, seriously you people booing and chanting "you dont know what your doing" how do you think they feel now, we should be estatic our manager has made a decent start results wise but instead you get on their backs....

That should have been a massive confidence boost for the team but instead i suspect they were sat their after the game feeling like they had lost... FFS get behind the team...:devil:
