Our team wwas always good enough for the top 6, if we want to get up automatically then thats what we need.

1. Why did you not demand this of the board before?

2. If you are true to what you're now saying why blame Sousa for us not making the playoffs? Football was dire, and after 26 games he did not know his best 11

3. Who do you think is to blame for not getting strikers in? I suspect we thought De Camine would be the answer, we never played our best striker enough. Still maintain this squad were good enough for top 6, but to go up automatically you need to spend on strikers. Blame is not giving enough money for top strikers

4. Who do you think is really to blame for us not making the playoffs? sorry, your not going to like this Paulo Sousa, those 9 games will always haunt me

5. If we don't get 2 quality strikers in and we are only mid table after 20 games will you be campaigning for the replacement of the new manager? After 25 games I will, for me its not about managers, its about the club gloing up

6. Considering you say "If you want to go up within the 4 year plan. Spend big on two quality strikers and don't try and get up us on the cheap. It won't work as proved this season" Why would you not start a campaign against the board on this matter, instead of a campaign against Sousa? Because he had the tools for a top 6 spot, look where we were end of January, he tinkered to much since home win versus Preston

For me its a complete lack of confidence. These players have ability, but lost it completely, with fans turning on them, not knowing if they were going to play week to week and general feeling around the club, even before Paulo left.

Don't see anything in there about whether we go up automatically or via the play offs. Just "if we want to go up". And crucially,

Now if trying to get us up on the cheap won't work, then it could not have been the fault of Dowie or Sousa that we did not get promoted this season. Can it?

So it brings us back to one of the questions asked right at the beginning of this thread. If this is really your opinion, why haven't you been screaming this in thread after thread all season, instead of digging at Sousa in thread after thread? And can we now expect that you'll be launching thread after thread after thread telling the board to sign two quality strikers until they do exactly that?

Oh it is hopeless James, we are all Gianni's puppets, every admin and mod here, bribed to be the board's blind obedient servants ages ago. When I fly in to London to attend 3-4 games per season I use Gianni's private jet. I tried hiding it but the people need to know, I am on the take. Gianni sends me iPods for Christmas, too. Im not going to disagree with you about needing them because that has been obvious to me for the last year but hasn't always bee nthe case with you it seems!!!!!

What we need is a manager who will buy his own players and be given longer than five minutes in charge. Paldini needs to move from DoF I would like to see him stay in some capacity as hopefully he can talk some sort of reason to Flavio and not just let him run riot completely! We need to get rid of a lot of the crap we have at our club and then we need to make strong signings in the summer a sub goalie, left back, midfielder and two strikers would be on my wish list!

I'm sorry, I just dont understand that mindset at all, how anyone can fail to see that that man is the Cancer at our football club really is beyond me.
We cannot afford to start another season with that individual involved with our football club, it is just so wrong, it disgusts me beyond words.

I'm not overlly fussed but he has to go as DoF that position is a pile of crap anyway and he clearly isn't that good at it!
The reason I see for him staying is that in my mind he has got a fair better grasp of the club than Briatore will ever have and may be able to influence Briatore to some extent over certain decision, Briatore in total control of everythin would seemingly be even worse than things are now!
