Don't shoot the massenger, it was just what he said. ;-) Jonsson might be good enough but I haven't seen him live so no opinion from me. Maybe Hart realises that we for sure need a defensive mf and will play Legs in that position as long as Mahon & Rowlands is out, as he did against SU. In that case all of a sudden we do need a rb if Ramage isn't good enough in his eyes...

Sorry Swede - we DO need a right back - one that actually plays in the position and not one of our many misfits being played out of position...that IMO is where a lot of our current problems come from.Originally posted by swede View PostNot sure about that. He“s a free agent in january and AIK wanted him to sign a new contract, the supporters want“s him to stay and he is rated as one of the best RB in Sweden. BUT....do we really need him? Legs is a better RB, and will get better and better in that position. I think we need a CMF and a striker....not a RB, AND we need to play Gorkss and Stewart in the middle whenever it is possible.
Watching these players week in week out is like watching a bunch of Under 9's where the coach is trying them out in various positions to see who fits best in the roles. It really is frustrating to see a Centre Mid playing at right back, a striker playing on the wing, another attacking midfielder suited to the hole behind the striker role playing on the left and of course a complete imposter of a footballer playing as a centre forward.
Time to stop the mix and match mentality and play players in their proper roles PLEASE.#standuptocancer

Agree with everything but not the RB-situation. Believe Legs is good in that position - better than in midfield - and needs to be played there week in and week out. But amen to everything else u are writing, spot on.Originally posted by Bluehoop View PostSorry Swede - we DO need a right back - one that actually plays in the position and not one of our many misfits being played out of position...that IMO is where a lot of our current problems come from.

Fair do's - there are two schools of thought on Ledge as a right back and we are obviously on opposite sides of that one. But in this democracy, who is to say either one of us is right, wrong or even entitled to an opinionOriginally posted by swede View PostAgree with everything but not the RB-situation. not sure why people here are turning their noses up at an international who's available on a free - not every foreigner is a pelican. i suppose some would rather we spent £3m on some english bloke from the division below us... a real "statement of intent".
