....when is he coming back? We need Jay S upfront and Taraabt is mostly playing for himself, so the leftside is a problem. If we can have Cook back in the form he had before leaving for Fulham, Faurlin and Mahon in the middle and Routledge on the right, Jay S and a new striker upfront (what about Iwelumo from Wolves or Leon Best...with Helguson as backup?) we could be in for an interesting 2010...

I agree re Cook. I believe some have short memories of HH though....He was v poor when playing week in week out. Shows how desperate we are to have forgotten. Also, we weren't that bothered about when Cook would be back a couple of months ago...how the good has fallen

the form cook's shown since he came back from Fulham has been very poor so he's not the answer. I think Hogan should get a good run in the team, so bring him back from Leeds
