Well at least he now has a full week to work with the sqaud and make up his own mind about players. Pretty sure he would have asked SG + MB for a bit of advice about us as he only had 2 days to work with them.

No guts and no fight!? I'm well confused.....

No cutting edge is more accurate. We bossed the 2nd half, the ball rarely left their half but we couldn't break them down. Legs, Williams, Stewart and Gorkks in particular were putting in crucnhing tackles (there's your guts and fight)

First two posts are utter rubbish!!

We werent watching the same game, 2nd half i think we were by far the most likely team to score a 2nd goal...We came out 1st half the better team then they got the upper hand but 2nd half they had nothing.

We had a few players if different positions but thats bound to happen with a new manager, other than that it was a solid performance and on another day we would have won it...

2nd half was a lot better and we should of had a blatant penalty on simpson

                Agree mate.

We were far more likely to get a winner than they were.Think Cerny barely had to make a save.

Encouraging considering the circumstances we were in, what with us lacking in confidence. It can only get better I suppose??

what else would hart say? he doesnt want to say anything un-toward which would upset players early into his very few games in charge.

we are just going through a bad patch as every team does.

                      KEEP THE FAITH U Rsssssssssssssssssss.

Hart must have watched a different game. What a pathetic performance.
First game: Arsenal vs Queen's Park Rangers at Highbury, Saturday 17th November 1984.

first shot on target 88 minutes, then the crossbar hit from Watson. He should have said the last 5 minutes were encouraging, because thats all it was.

Its same old same old rangers, just different name in charge thats all

Sheffield United came for a draw and put evryone behind the ball, they were the most destuctive team I have seen. Unfortunately you need that extra bit of skill from your forwards to break down a team like them and we simply have not got it. We need a player of Daves size but who can head, trap, shoot and most imprtant anticipate a pass rathe than wait for it and then react. Plus the should have been down to 10 for the foul on the edge and we should have had a penalty, two crucial decisions the ref got wrong.
                            RIP: Doug, Sniffer and Pat
