Faurlin cost a LOT, and still makes a LOT of errors. I like him and think he has potential, but he is by no means a success yet Pete.

          It was Magilton.

Wanted him at Ipswich but couldnt afford the fee.

Think he signed Civelli or someone instead.

Why because you were told in a game of chinese whispers, hardly makes it credible? Until there is clarity from the club outlining GP's role and who is scouting the players, the same old debates will continue on here.

Frankly I cant be arsed to get into another one as it doesn't move on.

You are so full of **** Pete

Magilton and assistant John Gorman had spotted Faurlin among hundreds of DVDs sent in by agents, and he said: “He stood out, so John flew to South America to see him in action. We got him over on trial and straightaway we could see what he was like.

“He’s been terrific in training, his attitude is good and he has a real hunger. I think the fans will take to him, and we hope he can hit the ground running.”

Please don't tell me I'm full of s.hit. I might be alot of things, but I'm not that.

Gianni was told about Faurlin, by contacts in Italy he then monitored him for a good period of time around 2 months, the deal is done with Inter Milan ( Gianni and Flavio have the contacts there, not Magilton or Gorman). Of course, Magilton went to see him, because he was the manager of our football club and ultimtaely decided whether to take him or not.

                              Thats the story..

lets see if he goes to Inter in about 2 years time
