  • Hope Magilton stays

If Jim didn't stick the nut on Buz, I'd be more than happy for him to stay. He had got us playing the best football i've seen for years. Two bad results don't make him a bad manager.

Perhaps some of the players need to take a long hard look at themselves and ask whether they care for this club as much as Jim wants to manage it.

It wasn't just 2 bad results.

    The rot started at Doncaster.
We don't see things as they are, we see them as we are...

If the rot set in then isn't that in some part down to the players? Also, isn't it galling to witness such a good overall team performance against West Brom in comparison to what we endured at Doncaster Boro and Watford?

If some of the players cared enough they'd turn it on every game.

or on the other hand they might play for the shirt if left to do so instead of the tinkerman disrupting the team.....
boro was a prime example....we got hammered....he said it was upto the players to show charactor in the next game....what did he do...dropped 4 of them...how they going to show a response from the bench.....

When you look at the s.h.i.t. being lined up to come in i would beg him to stay.

Clearly the bad results were down to Magilton's losing control in the dressing room and not down to his football tactics. If things get sorted out and he is back then that's fine as long it is in favour of the team.

He has to go, and he will go.

                  No doubt about either.

                        The rot started against Leicester.

QPR had a fairly poor 1st 6 games when they struggled for goals and clean sheets.

Then had a good 6 game spell with 4 wins and a draw and scored 18 goals. And since then it has been 1 win in 9. It is hardly about 2 losses in December.

It is in some part down to the players, but does anyone actually think that it isn't down to Magilton and his constant team changes. Have the same last centre halves played more than two consecutive games in the two months?

This is a vital area of the team that really needs stability. And Magilton has totally screwed this up.

Stewart isn't particularly good or consistant and Gorkss has switched off once or twice, but to change thenm about to accomodate (Hall when he is fit) is absolutley daft.

Playing a settled team is not something that Magiliton is going to learn, because he was tinkering thoughout his 3 seasons at Ipswich too. Which probably explains why they were so inconsistant. In one season they couldn't win at home, but often won away, the next season it was the reverse. In his last season, they were hit and miss both home and away.

Very good post and only if he didn't tinker, where would we have been today... nobody knows?

If we are going to get rid of managers because they "tinker" then we will never have a manager for more than six months.
