Pelicori - What an incredible waste of space

Awful sub to make. Under the cosh and we bring on the world's slowest, least mobile footballer who's poor in the air and can't find space to get the ball let alone hold the chuffing thing up.

20seconds before that goal, faulin brings it up on the left waiting and waiting and waiting for pelicori to make a run. He never does so he plays the ball anyway. Gets booted back up and what do you know? Release him immediately.

Keep ag on and that would never have happened.

Incredibly frustrating. Can understand the substitution, with Pat clearly running low on energy, but Pellicori didn't close anyone down or even break out of a disinterested lazy shuffle for the entire time he was on the pitch. Can't blame anyone individually for a defeat really, but at the end of games like that you need 11 players pulling together and fighting for the cause. We only had 10.

the team were fantastic tonight, well maybe that's going a bit OTT

defended great & almost snuffed WBA out until they brought on there big boys & started to bombard our penalty box (you just knew what was going to happen) :very_sad:

the difference between WBA & us...................Simon Cox! they buy a decent enough goal scorer whose now got 6 goals in 7 games for them.......we get Pellicori, enough said :cry:

think the players showed what they can do, even tho there where 1 or 2 really frustrating moments with a few of our players, but all said & done a great point tho boys

we should have stuck simpson up front and brought on vine for pat , putting vine on the left . at least with simpsons pace , he could have closed down the wba players playing at the back with the ball as well as being good at holding ball in possession and he's not affraid to get stuck in .AND he would have made a ####ing better effort at getting on to faurlins thru ball that that ####ing italian cart horse

Harsh and unfair. Is it his fault he aint Bolt? Is it his fault Faurlin played him a ball to run onto instead of to feet? Was it his fault Watson and Routledge failed to make any challenges? Was it his fault they played so deep we allowed them the chance?

There should be an investigation of the signing of Pelicori, I said it at the time and nothing has changed. its unbelieeeeeeevable that a team supposedly looking to strengthen its squad sold Blackstock and purchased/signed this guy
