Personally would hold out for Warnock. Okay, no-one likes him, but gets the job done, thats all I'm interested in.

Don't have to like your manager.

Hart would not be a bad choice. Respectable manager despite previous record. Owen Coyle would not have been everyone's choice at Burnley and he has worked wonders

I don't like Warnock, but I think he knows what it takes to win promotion or at least make the play-offs.

He could be tempted to leave Palace if they continue to have big financial problems.

But I would really hope that QPR could aim for a manager with a successful record and noted for playing decent football. Of course it wont be easy to attract someone like that to the CCC.

However, if Notts County can attract Ericsson to L2, it is worth a try for QPR to appoint a better calibre of manager/coach .

              Really?

One promotion in 14 years. Not the best record of getting the job done

Problem is, when you get an average manager, not everyone is going to be in agreement.

We were sold the dream not long ago, but its unlikely this club could attract a very very big name, even though that is what is needed.

                  Fair point.

                  Bit of a shame too.
Obviously the best managers are not ruled by money, just the average ones.

If you have a reputation to lose, stay well away from QPR.
If you don't have one worth losing... join the queue.

Personally I think we would be better off giving 'a stop gap' manager until the end of this season and then start again in the summer and aim for someone we really want. Unless we leave Bircham in charge until May?

I think we should wait for Benitez to get the boot from Liverpool and snap him up on the cheap!!
