Make sure you have a bar of chocolate with you while you slowly dehydrate and die!
I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

A wintry week of weather ahead
      14 December 2009

Our forecasters are predicting a spell of much colder weather with snow in some areas, especially in the east.

Daytime temperatures may not rise much above freezing in places, with a raw easterly wind making it feel even colder in some places. Sleet or snow could fall in some areas during Tuesday but the coldest days of the week look like being towards the end of the week.

Met Office Chief Forecaster, Tony Waters said, “Some locations could see a light covering of snow by Wednesday but heavier snow showers are likely in eastern regions on Thursday and Friday.”

Details remain very uncertain at this stage for next week but it should begin cold and unsettled. However, there is the chance of milder weather pushing up from the south-west at times, so keep up-to-date with the latest weather forecasts.

              East Midlands
              Heavy Snow Fri 18 Dec
There is a moderate risk of severe weather affecting southeastern parts of England. Snow showers, especially during the first half of the day, will give local accumulations of 5 to 10cm.

Issued at: 1105 Tue 15 Dec

Any volunteers to sweep the snow off the pitch and get it on sat?

Neil I think what Pete is trying to say is that you are very much a trainspotter.
And when you are not doing that you are improving you're fine collection of stamps!

If we were all the same the world would be a boring place.

At least Bristol game may be on

                  Day 1 to 2Day 3 to 5Day 6 to 15SeasonalUK Outlook for Sunday 20 Dec 2009 to Tuesday 29 Dec 2009:
A mixture of sunny spells and showers or longer outbreaks of rain or snow will affect most parts at first, with some significant snowfall possible, particularly for Scotland and northern England. Cold generally, with the northwesterly winds making it feel even colder, and with frosty and icy surfaces in places. From Christmas Eve onwards, it is likely to remain unsettled and wintry in most northern areas with further outbreaks of rain, sleet or snow. Further south, cloud and rain seems likely to spread northwards, but quite probably preceded by a spell of snow in places. Temperatures may recover to near or above normal in parts of the south towards the end of the period, although this aspect is uncertain.

No chance of it being sticky.

Game will be on, unless you can give us travel updates from various regions into London

I hope it is on because in recent years a dusting on the terraces has been considered dangerous. :scorn:
