Reality is, season is not over.

if Mags stays, or someone else comes in, we only have to win a couple of games and fans change completelt You have to look at the bigger picture and be real.

After we drew against Peterborough season was supposed to be over, then we beat Cardiff??

    Long long way to go.

Do you honestly think with all this upheaval players are gonna perform at their best?.

And do you think we can win at Bramhall Lane, where we lost 3-0 last season?.

Cup game anything can happen. I remember beating Sheffield United a few times away and one of them was in the cup, when they were in the premiership.

Trouble is, we cannot be defeatist. The problem is the players need to show character and so far this season, not many have showed it.

Just think this current problem is gonna unsettle the club too much.Last thing we need is uncertainty in the players minds.

And i will be going to Sheffield by the way and cheering them on as always.:red_heart:

Sorry, this cup lark. Beat Sheff Utd? Maybe and then what? Are you saying we are gonna reach the semis? Or are we gonna be out by February? Keep your money in your pocket.

As for Championship play offs this season? Not gonna happen. Get over it. Was never gonna happen. Finished mid-table last season if you can remember that far back? We were never a team of world beaters and even if we were, we've blown it.

What manager can take us from mid-table to play offs in 26 games with this unbalanced squad of players who think they are better than they are? And if you can name one, we won't get him.

Sorry to spoil everyone's Christmas. QPR will go nowhere this season and Santa doesn't exist either.

season is far from over,we only have 28 points and first and foremost need another 24 to be safe.

I'm a realist, I very much doubt now that we will make top 6 or even top 10 for that matter. I cannot see Magilton and Gorman coming back now, the squad is in limbo and it looks as if we are looking for a new manager once again, even if we appoint somone new it takes time for his ideas and training to get through to the squad, so I very much doubt he will perform a miracle and create a winning team.
We have a quality squad, but thats not the problem, its the manager side of affiars, if you have no manager then you won't go anywhere - end of.

I for one am shocked over the last 5 days or so, but realistically I cannot see us being there end of the season, I will say it will be a repeat of last season, so season over for me.

No. Just didn't get carried away as much as some with some wins over Barnsley, Reading, Derby and Sheff Wed. Not a great list of scalps realistically, is it?

We all have different expectations and dreams for the club. I'd like to know what the club still believes is possible this season. I think communication with fans by most football clubs is superficial and they regard us as plankton.

Fans are as good as dammit near shareholders and the disdain, condescension and platitudes doled out are insulting if you are awake enough to see it. Football is one of the few businesses where customers don't matter.
